Content SEO questions, answered
What is an SEO content audit?
It analyzes a page's actual content — not just its tags — for the on-page signals search engines and readers care about: how readable the writing is, whether the heading structure is logical, how well the page targets its focus keyword, and whether it's deep enough to rank. You get a 0-100 score and a prioritized list of fixes.
What's a good readability score?
We use the Flesch Reading Ease score (0-100, higher is easier). 60+ is plain English that most readers handle comfortably — a good target for web content. Below 40 tends to be dense and academic. Shorter sentences and simpler words raise the score.
What is keyword density and does it still matter?
Density is how often your focus keyword appears relative to total words. There's no magic number, but roughly 0.5-3% signals the topic without stuffing. Placement matters more than raw density — having the keyword in the title, H1, intro and URL is worth more than repeating it.
